Andy Glass Windows offer the manufacturer's 10 year warranty on white uPVC and Aluminium frames and a 10 year manufacturer's guarantee uPVC coloured or woodgrain effect frames. AGW Ltd also offer the sealed glass units manufacturer's warranty of 5 years. All other accessories carry the relevant manufacturer's guarantee with a minimum of 1 year.

How to proceed
Please follow the steps on the guide given on this web page. If you have any questions at any point in the process please get in touch.

Timescale
Our current estimated timescale on new work for standard window and door installations is around 10 working weeks from full survey to completion, but could be longer or shorter depending on manufacturers and demand. For larger jobs e.g. conservatory roof installations it would normally be 14 weeks from survey depending on project size. (last updated 1st December 2025)

A normal quote to installation process:
01. Quote
Andy Glass Windows Ltd:
Normally following a short appointment to discuss your needs and take measurements we will return to the office and produce a quote which we aim to email you (or telephone if no email is available) within a couple of working days. Don't forget to visit our showroom or take our virtual showroom tour now to see products up close.
02. Accept Quote
Customer:
You decide if you would like to accept the quote and then let us know. Quotes are normally valid for 30 days (unless otherwise stated). Our quotes are fairly calculated and we don't offer further discounts on the price given. If you wish to change your chosen product specification we will be happy to re-quote.
03. Contract & Paperwork
Andy Glass Windows Ltd:
We will issue a job reference, contract, specification, T&Cs, deposit invoice and details of deposit protection scheme.

For larger jobs we may need to arrange a payment schedule through stages of the work.

For contracts under £500.00 one invoice will be raised and payment will be required in advance.
04. Deposit Payment
Customer:
To proceed, pay the deposit invoice and return a signed copy of the contract and specification to Andy Glass Windows Ltd. If you have an email address this will have been sent via an online signing portal called SigningHub too.

Register the Deposit Guarantee under the Consumer Protection Association (CPA) within 7 days of paying the deposit.
05. Cooling Off Period
Andy Glass Windows Ltd:
We need to give you a cooling off period of 14 calendar days following deposit payment before proceeding. If you want to proceed quicker you will need to advise us in writing that you waive your cooling off period.
06. Full Survey Booked
Andy Glass Windows Ltd:
We book a survey appointment with you following deposit payment and receipt of signed contract and specification, to take place after the cooling off period.

The estimated timescale clock will start from the date of this survey (not from the date you asked to go ahead with your project)
07. Survey
Andy Glass Windows Ltd:
We will carry out a site survey. Please ensure you discuss with our surveyor all your requirements, as once products are ordered changes can't be made.

Contracts with Aluminium products may be asked for a further 25% stage payment to enable ordering to proceed at this time.
08. Order
Andy Glass Windows Ltd:
We will order your products with the manufacturer. All uPVC and Aluminium frames are made to order to your specifications.

Until we have confirmed delivery dates, installation can not be booked. If you wish to give us dates to aim for or avoid this is useful.
09. Production
Andy Glass Windows Ltd:
We will be notified by the manufacturer of the expected delivery date to our warehouse.

We can then contact you to arrange a tentative installation date.
10. Installation
Andy Glass Windows Ltd:
Following confirmation of installation dates we will arrive at your property on the first day of installation normally around 8.30am subject to traffic.
11. Completion of installation
Andy Glass Windows Ltd:
On completion of your installation we will remove old frames and clean up after ourselves. Our installers can demonstrate your new products and will leave you with keys.
Please request a demonstration from our installers and check your installation. If you have any concerns after the installers have left, please contact the office. (Please note the office will not receive installer feedback until the following day, if you have raised any issues with them).
12. Paying the final balance invoice
Customer:
You will be issued a final balance invoice when we complete your installation.

13. Register for any additional product guarantees
Customer:
If your products have additional manufacturers guarantees available you will need to apply for these soon after installation.
14. FENSA
Andy Glass Windows Ltd:
If your work qualifies for a FENSA certificate it will be sent to you in the post. We provide details to FENSA and they will post you a certificate directly (Allow 8 weeks following installation)
15. Care and Maintenance
Andy Glass Windows Ltd:
We recommend bi-annual maintenance is carried out to prolong the life of your products and avoid the need for service calls. Manufacturers Maintenance guides can be found below.
